These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Proflow Gutter Cleaning ("Proflow", "we", "our" or "us") to residential and commercial customers.

By accepting a quotation, booking a service or permitting work to commence, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Services

Proflow Gutter Cleaning provides residential and commercial gutter cleaning services, gutter inspections and related maintenance services.

Services are provided using specialist gutter cleaning equipment and methods appropriate to the property and circumstances at the time of the visit.

All services are subject to safe access, weather conditions and site-specific requirements.

Quotations

All quotations provided by Proflow Gutter Cleaning are valid for a period of 28 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quotations are based on the information available at the time of assessment, including photographs, customer descriptions, satellite imagery, site visits or other information provided.

Where additional work, unforeseen circumstances, hidden blockages, restricted access or other issues are identified before or during the works, Proflow reserves the right to revise the quotation before proceeding.

Deposits

A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is required for all works with a total quoted value of £500 or greater.

Works with a total quoted value below £500 do not require a deposit unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All deposits paid to Proflow Gutter Cleaning are fully refundable should the customer choose to cancel or reschedule the booking before work has commenced.

Booking, cancellation and rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments at any time without charge.

Proflow will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes to appointment dates and times.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments where necessary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, safety concerns, equipment issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas is available at the agreed appointment time.

Customers must inform Proflow of any known hazards, access restrictions, property defects or circumstances that may affect the safe completion of the works.

Where access is restricted by locked gates, parked vehicles, construction works, aggressive animals, overgrown vegetation or other obstacles, Proflow may reschedule the works, revise the quotation or complete only the accessible portions of the work.

Payment terms

Payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment may be made by bank transfer or cash.

Invoices not paid within the agreed period may be subject to recovery action, statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs where permitted by law.

Existing damage and property condition

Proflow Gutter Cleaning shall not be responsible for defects, deterioration, weaknesses or damage that existed prior to commencement of the works.

This includes but is not limited to cracked guttering, leaking joints, corroded sections, loose brackets, failing fixings, damaged downpipes, deteriorated seals, defective roofing components or previous repair work.

Cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects that were obscured by debris, moss, vegetation or accumulated material. Discovery of such defects shall not constitute damage caused by Proflow.

Hidden blockages and additional work

The presence and extent of blockages cannot always be determined before work begins.

Where severe blockages, bird nests, vegetation growth, compacted debris, inaccessible obstructions or other unforeseen conditions are discovered, additional work may be required.

Where additional work is necessary, Proflow reserves the right to provide a revised quotation before continuing.

Underground drainage and exclusions

Standard gutter cleaning services relate only to accessible gutters and downpipes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Proflow does not undertake underground drainage investigations, drainage clearance, drain repairs, soakaway repairs or drainage diagnostics unless specifically included within the quotation.

Where water continues to overflow following gutter cleaning, the cause may relate to underground drainage issues, defective drainage systems or other factors outside the scope of the agreed works.

Camera inspections

Proflow may utilise camera systems and inspection equipment where reasonably practical and safe to do so.

Camera inspections are provided as a supplementary service and are not guaranteed on every visit.

The availability and quality of inspections may be affected by weather conditions, access restrictions, equipment limitations, lighting conditions, property design and other factors beyond our reasonable control.

Photographs and media

Proflow may take photographs or videos before, during and after the completion of works for record-keeping, quality assurance, training and marketing purposes.

Photographs may be used on our website, social media platforms, advertising materials and other marketing channels.

Customers may request that images relating to their property are not used for marketing by notifying us in writing.

Workmanship guarantee

Proflow Gutter Cleaning takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.

If a customer believes an area included within the agreed scope of work has not been cleaned satisfactorily, they must notify us within 14 days of completion.

Where we determine that an area within the agreed scope of work has not been completed to a satisfactory standard, we will return and rectify the issue at no additional charge.

Limitation of liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

Subject to applicable law, Proflow's total liability arising from any claim relating to the services provided shall not exceed the total value of the services supplied.

Proflow shall not be liable for indirect losses, consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Insurance

Proflow Gutter Cleaning maintains appropriate business insurance relevant to the services provided.

Details of insurance cover may be made available upon reasonable request.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted as extending liability beyond the limits of applicable insurance policies or legal obligations.

Weather conditions

The safety of customers, employees, contractors and members of the public remains our priority at all times.

Where weather conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable, including high winds, heavy rain, storms, lightning, ice or other adverse conditions, services may be postponed or rescheduled.

No compensation shall be payable in respect of delays caused by adverse weather conditions.

Force majeure

Proflow shall not be liable for delays, interruptions or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include adverse weather, flooding, fire, equipment failure, theft, illness, accidents, road closures, utility outages, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.

Where reasonably possible, affected appointments will be rescheduled at the earliest suitable opportunity.

Complaints

We are committed to providing excellent customer service and resolving complaints fairly and professionally.

Any concerns regarding the services provided should be communicated to us as soon as reasonably possible.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions shall affect any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
